This is all wonderful news for their engineers and potential engineers, offering an opportunity for you to expand your skill sets on an ongoing basis.Due to a successful contract win, the Company is now looking on a nationwide search, for Self Employed Entry Level Telecom Engineers who will be fully trained in house in order to be able to install new IPTV services for their clients within the customer's homes.In addition to this will come with other opportunities such as: resolving broadband / IPTV faults and speed optimising of their broadband lines.An opportunity now exists to cover Oxford (South) (OX10, OX11, OX12, OX14, OX44). The position is a self-employed status but can be considered permanent.If selected, you will undergo a thoroughly detailed training three week program. The Company will give you 12 days of thorough classroom instruction at their well-equipped HQ and they'll also start to pay you. During this initial training, classroom instruction will be complimented by valuable experience in the field where you will shadow one of their experienced engineers. The class room training will be concluded with 1 - 5 days in the field (your area), depending on your experience, with an experienced engineer. On your second week, in the field, you will be buddying up with an existing engineer just to make sure you're OK and then in the third week, it's back to the training HQ prior to going into the field and fully trained liberation.You will be paid for the first 2 weeks of training which will increase in the remaining week and during your first 25 weeks in the field. After the completion of your probationary service, of six months, your daily rate will increase yet again. So, help is at hand.You will be provided, or leased, with: a van, all necessary tools, a very smart uniform, an iPad, insurance cover and the software licences required. Once out in the field you will initially be given a reduced number of jobs per day which will then rise steadily to a full day allowing you to find your feet - they really look after their team. Don't worry, all training, travel and accommodation expenses will be paid - so this will be a bonus too.Once out in the field you will be working a 6 day week operation on a rotational basis (Sundays are currently off).Key Features of the Role:Applicants must live within a 30 minute radius of the advertised Post Codes and have a full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points which needs to have been held for at least a year.There will be a requirement for you to undergo an online Driver Risk Assessment and you will need to declare any medical conditions regarding driving or whether you are on medication.
