As the 2nd Line Application Support Analyst your duties will include: Responding to client calls in a professional manner, providing solutions and advice where appropriate.Resolving incidents raised by external customers at 2nd Line and liaising with 3rd Line development for problem resolution.Ensuring Service Quality levels are maintained.Ensuring all issues are handled in a timely manner.Reviewing outstanding issues, ensuring clients are kept informed of progress. To be a successful 2nd Line Application Support Analyst you will have the following skills and experience: A background or previous experience in 2nd line Application Support.Proven experience in supporting ERP applications with external customers.Familiarity with Windows 10 operating system and Windows Server 2012 onwards.Experience in using SQL.Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.Knowledge / experience Crystal Reporting.Must be eligible to work in the UK. Junior Application Support AnalystUp to £25,000 per annumFrome, SomersetPermanent Are you proficient with SQL database management? Are you able to analyse and evaluate data? If the answer is YES, then we would love to hear from you!Due to continued growth my client is looking to recruit a Junior Application Support Analyst to join their well-established team in Frome. You will be providing a liaison function between the business side of the company and the IT departments and external service providers. You will be the driving force behind the company's' approach to the website, ERP systems, identifying options, workflow and data management, data analysis and reporting.Duties: * Interpret business intelligence requirements * Maintaining existing SQL queries * Create and run SQL queries from the database * Define and create KPIs * Work with external systems and infrastructure providers to address networking, programming and hardware/software issues * Maintain and promote MS SharePoint Services * Work closely with users to identify business, department and individual change needs * Design and review test casesThe successful candidate will be/have: * Degree or equivalent in commerce or business with major studies such as BA/BSC Information Systems Management * Expertise in the modelling/mapping of business processes * Excellent attention to detail * Able to gather and document requirements include the production of process flows, interview skills, workshop facilitation and investigate of current state * Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsThis is a full time position Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week), however 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm are also feasible.Successful candidates will be contacted within 3 days of their applications, should you not hear from us within this time, please assume that your application was unsuccessful.
