An FTSE 250 Technology Organisations with 2000+ Employees across multiple locations worldwide is seeking a Global Head of Service Delivery / Technology to be based in London to join its expanding team. The team size is circa 100 employees across the UK, US and the Asia Pacific. This is a senior role reporting directly to the CIO and working with divisional leaders you will be responsible for developing and managing a high performing team providing a range of support services across; Infrastructure, Application Development, Security, Telecoms, Cloud Services, Dev Ops, Hosting, DR and End-user support services in a 24/7 Globally located end user base. As the Head of Service Delivery / Technology, your duties will be to:
Ensure the effective leadership, development, management and delivery of Global IT Services.Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all customers and 3rd Party Providers to ensure that standards are met or exceeded.Monitor and report on all costs, regularly reviewing IT cost structures for IT services, managing gross margin contributions and ensuring annual revenue and margin targets are achieved.Manage change management programmes.Manage third party delivery against agreed SLA’s, risk management, produce reporting metrics to be used at quarterly reviews.Manage and ensure programmes and projects are delivered on time, quality and within budget constraints.Review and understand the standards of the business and recommend steps that should be taken to modify and develop the infrastructure and security programmes as the business dictates.Recruit, train, coach and mentor the teams.Establish talent development plans.
To be a successful Head of Service Delivery / Technology you will have the following skills and experience:
Extensive senior level management experience gained within a similar field and career, ideally working for a digital, managed services, media or financial services organisation.Extensive experience of working internationally in an organisation where you have managed multiple sites and support teams.Proven influencing, networking and stakeholder management skills at senior and board level.Strong knowledge of infrastructure including Information security; risk and compliance.Familiar with project management methodologies (for example, Prince and Agile).Working with Cloud Technology.Strong Written and Verbal communications skill.
