As the Chief Technology Officer, your duties will be to:
• Lead and manage the onshore and offshore technical teams.• Lead and implement the technology strategy for the division assessing the division’s technology requirements and determining the most suitable technology platforms to drive business development.• Lead and implement the Division’s MarTech and CRM strategy.• Recruit, manage, develop and retain a talented technical team.• Lead third-party negotiations and managing supplier relationships.• Manage and maintain stability, performance and security of existing systems.• Management of the Division’s technology budget, including business case management for all technology proposals.
To be a successful Chief Technology Officer you will have the following skills and experience:
• Experience of building strong delivery teams across split geographies e.g. onshore and offshore.• Track record of leading and delivering a technology strategy in a cost effective and agile manner.• Evidence of collecting and refining business requirements and turning them into tangible technical roadmaps for delivery.• Good experience of project lifecycle delivery in a digital / data business.• Good financial skills in terms of managing a budget and working closely with the finance team to report on technology spend within the business.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Passion for technology both inside and outside of work.
