This is all wonderful news for their engineers and potential engineers, offering an opportunity for you to expand your skill sets on an ongoing basis.Due to a successful contract win, the Company is now looking on a nationwide search, for Self Employed Entry Level Telecom Engineers who will be fully trained in house in order to be able to install new IPTV services for their clients within the customer's homes.In addition to this will come with other opportunities such as: resolving broadband / IPTV faults and speed optimising of their broadband lines.Opportunities now exist in Corby. The positions are self-employed status but can be considered permanent.If selected, you will undergo a thoroughly detailed training three week program. The Company will give you 12 days of thorough classroom instruction at their well-equipped HQ and they'll also start to pay you. During this initial training, classroom instruction will be complimented by valuable experience in the field where you will shadow one of their experienced engineers. The class room training will be concluded with 1 - 5 days in the field (your area), depending on your experience, with an experienced engineer. We have an excellent opportunity for a Web Developer to be based at a Trust in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The Trust Their vision is a UK rich in native woods and trees for people and wildlife. The Trust aims to engage and inspire people about woods and trees to help meet their vision of creating, restoring and protecting woodland.  They can only achieve their vision with a solid digital team - and that's where you come in! The Role We have 2 x Web Developer positions and 1 x Senior Web Developer position which will help form our client's revamped digital team. The Web Developer roles will: •    Manage the Trust's digital presence, engagement with supporters and the wider public. •    The role will involve working across all areas of their digital estate, from their main web platforms to ancillary sites / services. •    Your main responsibilities will be to expand/improve existing platforms but also be part of the creation of new ones in line with the digital vision. Our client operates Agile working where they empower people with the flexibility to use the most appropriate working space available. This may be in an office at a desk with your team, breakout area, or occasional home working. Key Responsibilities •    Open and receptive to skill sharing with other members of the team •    To expand/improve existing platforms but also be part of the creation of new ones in line with the digital vision •    Bring complimentary skills and experience to all areas of our digital estate, from our main web platforms to ancillary sites / services. •    Design and development of new solutions •    Working with Digital team to help define new technologies/practices into the team that can add/improve capability •    Creating innovative and robust solutions to problems that deliver the technical vision whilst considering the trade-offs between usability and performance needs •    Represent the Digital team to internal teams and also 3rd parties Essential skills •    Possess exceptional communications skills, be able to work well as part of a team and cross departmentally •    Have a keen eye for attention to detail •    Excellent problem solving skills •    Asp.NET C# / MVC •    Umbraco CMS •    Experience working in an Agile / SCRUM team •    Source code control, ideally GitHub or SVN •    End-to-end web development including HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON etc. •    Front end frameworks The Person •    For the role of Web Developer we are looking for someone who is solution focused when it comes to problem solving.    •    You'll be working in an environment of rapid change with people that are passionate and enthusiastic about the quality of the projects they deliver. •    It is therefore important that the Web Developers are customer focused. •    You'll need to be flexible in your approach with exceptional communication skills. •    The Senior Web Developer will be expected to perform all of the above as well as support, coach and mentor the Web Developers in the Digital team.
