QA Specialist (Web Poker) - Douglas -

Due to expansion a new role has arisen for a QA Specialist within a division responsible for the QA of a Web Poker client.  The Team’s primary goal is to be defect-preventive with the use of a risk-based approach to testing.  You will act as the quality advocate for our internal clients and the players, looking beyond simple Pass/Fail states to identify usability issues and make recommendations for improvements.The successful candidate will receive an excellent benefits package including bonus potential of up to 25% and 7% pension.  The company are also offering a relocation package for the right candidate who wishes to relocate. As the QA Specialist (Web Poker) you will be responsible for: -  Analysis of project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of business and technical requirements and, where necessary, work with stakeholders to ensure requirements conform to SMART principles. These may include business requirements, functional specifications, process flow diagrams and user stories, produced at varying levels of formality, dependent on risk and complexity.Developing test plans and liaising with the project stakeholders for review and feedback before publishing in readiness for commencing testing.Providing estimates of testing effort based on content and risk.Liaising with product managers and developers to derive logical sets of prioritised test suites, assessing resource requirements and timescales for test execution to ensure they can be run in the available project time.Identifying the test conditions, then designing and writing relevant test scenarios and test cases which will effectively exercise the item under test, applicable to both new and existing product functionality.Ensuring that test scenarios and test cases are written in a manner cognisant of future automation requirementsConfiguring the test environments in readiness for the execution and care for the integrity of the environment during execution to ensure the validity of the test results.Executing the agreed set of test cases, in line with the Test Plan and development project schedule, clearly and accurately reporting test results and progress.Retesting bugs when the fix is committed to the affected environment, and provide sign-off or remedial action recommendations on behalf of QA.Performing basic maintenance on automated test suites.Practicing effective procedures and keeping a correct mindset for testing and quality assurance. Due to expansion a new role has arisen for a MEAN Stack Web Developer reporting into the Department Head.  You will be a key member of the Software Quality Assurance Team and responsible for design, build, deployment, and maintain test automation scripts using the most appropriate automation technology available.In this role, you will be directly involved with the testing of the front-end (functional testing and asset validation) using Regression and Browser compatibility suites that run at the certification stage.  Occasionally, you will be required to provide solutions to ad-hoc testing requests where automation is determined to be beneficial to the business outcome.The portfolio contains native apps, web apps and web pages. They spread across multiple platforms, OS and gaming licences, and are developed using Agile methodologies and continuous integration.
