In return for this, you will receive a fantastic range of benefits including 25 days holiday, a pension scheme, an annual bonus, private healthcare, dental/visual/travel insurance, subsidized gym membership, a cycle to work scheme and childcare vouchers.      As a Network Specialist – Mobile, your daily duties will include: Developing an in-depth understanding of our global SMS Products, and use that knowledge to provide exceptional technical advice and solutions. Performing advanced troubleshooting of SMSC events. Acting as a critical issue point for internal teams in relation to Global SMS. Building and Maintaining technical relationships with mobile networks and partners. Continually reviewing and documenting the company's Global SMS knowledgebase. Handling a variety of tickets and projects, including critical issues with partners/carriers. Providing mentorship to global Support teams. Monitoring routing changes to ensure quality is maintained. Assisting with new partner onboarding and quality testing. Working diligently to help identify ways to improve internal practices and procedures as they relate to our global SMS offering.  To be a successful Network Specialist – Mobile, you will have the following skills and experiences: To be degree educated with a 2.1 or equivalent.A background in networking with a strong SMS focus would be beneficial but is not essentialA strong SMS knowledge including SMS Quality Assurance, SMS Encoding, SMS protocols such as SMPP, Binary (message control).The ability to be comfortable working with SQL and MySQL databases as well as RDBMS concepts.  In return, a Specialist will receive a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
