This is a full time and permanent position. It is likely that the position will be based at their head office in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales, although partial remote working is supported. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage multiple projects, each lasting from several weeks to several monthsBe responsible for all stages of the IT project management cycle from tender to post-implementation support activitiesWork closely with colleagues and clients at all levels and know when to (and when not to), escalate matters to directorsSuccessfully manage the relationship with the client and stakeholdersEnsure resource availability and allocationMeet client expectations whilst maintaining a strong business focus
Skills & Experience Required:Essential;
Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sectorA solid technical background with understanding of software development and web technologiesStrong organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsA very good educational backgroundThe maturity to bring a calm and confident presence to projects
Have experience using project management tools - ideally Jira and/or GitHubBe familiar managing projects using ‘Agile’ principlesGraduate qualifications in an environmental or computing discipline
Remuneration:You can expect a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on skills and experience). They don’t expect you to work ‘whatever hours are needed’ either - they pay for overtime. This is an office based role giving you the chance to utilise your skills and gain new experience. However, occasional travel may be required, normally within the M25 and Southern England, this role suits a professional, flexible and client focused individual.As the Project Manager (Maximo) your duties will include:
Being responsible for providing functional consulting and management of improvement programs for clients in oil and gas industry.Leading integration across all work streams and organisational boundaries to deliver objectives.Influencing and management of key programme / portfolio stakeholders (internal and external).
To be a successful Project Manager (Maximo) you will have the following skills and experience:
Experience in any Maximo / Infor Partner products would be an advantage.A formal PM qualification and / or membership of the Association of Project Management (APM).Excellent communication both verbal and written.Flexibility and capable of adapting to a changing and evolving environment to meet business needs.Ideally will have gained experience either working at a client end user site, as a lead PM or within a consultancy / reseller based environment.
You will be working between 9am and 5:30pm although flexibility is required and expected.In return, the Project Manager (Maximo) will receive a salary of £55,000 - £70,000+ per annum depending on experience plus 25 days annual leave and associated benefits.
