Key Features of the Role: You will need to be able to apply your PHP Development experience and working knowledge of MySQL, HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript, with a clear understanding of responsive design, web security, source control, and experience working with databases, payment gateways and third-party APIs. You will work closely with in-house Designers to draw up detailed project specifications, meeting with client to identify their needs and liaise regularly with them, as well as supporting existing systems. You will understand agile project methodologies, work to budget and deadlines, and maintain a good knowledge of current technologies, to provide an efficient method of project delivery, whilst offering well considered solutions. Working Practice such as drawing up detailed project specifications, presenting initial design ideas to clients, coding using a variety of software, working with different CMS, meeting relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy. This is all wonderful news for their engineers and potential engineers, offering an opportunity for you to expand your skill sets on an ongoing basis.Due to a successful contract win, the Company is now looking on a nationwide search, for Self Employed Entry Level Telecom Engineers who will be fully trained in house in order to be able to install new IPTV services for their clients within the customer's homes.In addition to this will come with other opportunities such as: resolving broadband / IPTV faults and speed optimising of their broadband lines.Opportunity now exist in Gloucestershire: Chipping Campden (GL55) and Moreton-in-Marsh (GL56). The positions are self-employed status but can be considered permanent.If selected, you will undergo a thoroughly detailed training three week program. The Company will give you 12 days of thorough classroom instruction at their well-equipped HQ and they'll also start to pay you. During this initial training, classroom instruction will be complimented by valuable experience in the field where you will shadow one of their experienced engineers. The class room training will be concluded with 1 - 5 days in the field (your area), depending on your experience, with an experienced engineer. On your second week, in the field, you will be buddying up with an existing engineer just to make sure you're OK and then in the third week, it's back to the training HQ prior to going into the field and fully trained liberation.You will be paid for the first 2 weeks of training which will increase in the remaining week and during your first 25 weeks in the field.
