AV SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER Birmingham Circa £35,000 + Due to continued success are seeking to recruit an AV Systems Designer with a proven track record in this field formal A.V qualifications and comprehensive knowledge of current AV Systems associated IT elements and their installation. As a leading global audio visual systems integration company; proAV has developed a very large portfolio of clients, crossing all market sectors, over six continents. The main purpose of the role will be to undertake and support the existing design team. * Production of audio visual M&E drawings * Production of audio visual system schematics* Production of bespoke metal work design - Bracketry, plates, etc* Production of bespoke woodwork design - control desks, lecterns, media walls, etc* Production of CAD detailing optical rigs, projection throw, screen distances, equipment/power/service/data positioning* Production of containment drawings* Attending site meetings* Designing coordination with all internal departments and external clients/consultants* Supplier liaison* Comprehensive working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements and their installations (including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, video conferencing, video streaming, digital signage, etc)* A thorough understanding of technology behind the equipment and associated interfacing * Excellent organisational skills* Sociable and a sense of humour* Able to work well within a team* Self-Management / Communication / Planning/Organising Benefits:* Excellent salary and bonus package * 3% pension contribution (after 6 months probation period) * 23 days holiday in first year (holiday years rising after length of service January to December) to 25 during 3rd year * Death in service benefits (3 x annual salary) * Private medical insurance (after 3 months probation period)

This company enables the sale of services to all companies licensed to operate in the water markets, this equates to over £400m of revenue that is managed by the team. As well as managing approximately £40m of risk associated with market compliance. As the Systems Demand Manager, your duties will be to: • Develop the approach and detailed plan including activities, resource requirements, schedule, quality assurance approach and integration with other developments. Including managing a programme of system changes and plan of work which is agreed with the TTA, impacted business units and transformation and change to deliver system changes.• Manage system changes from requirements gathering through to implementation/ deployment of system change.• Be responsible for tracking all the regulatory changes and requirements in terms of systems and data.• Be responsible for delivering the required changes in systems and process changes which directly affects data• Assess the overall viability of the investment in achieving the target outcome. Including the develop business cases for system changes and obtain capital funding through submission of papers to the investment committee where required.• Develop “request for proposal” for projects/programmes along with the IS/TTA programme/project managers for TTA/SIs/vendors to respond. The request for proposal will need to be created based on business demands and architectural guidance.• Monitor progress and take appropriate remedial actions as necessary, ensuring delivery is on time and meets or exceeds expectations. Including monitoring the development of systems changes through the build and testing phases and support user acceptance testing.• Manage stakeholder relationships, monitor supplier compliance and ensure project output meets sponsor’s expectations. To be a successful Systems Demand Manager you will have the following skills and experience: • Similar experience owning a complex systems landscape.• Possess a proven track record of creating and implementing strategic projects.• An excellent leader and technical expert who has the understanding of demand management processes and delivery and release management functions.• Understand macro level architecture, to shape the architectural vision for our market systems; and appreciate the pressure in delivering in a commercially astute environment.• Experienced in: billing, CRM, content management, integration buses and databases.• Familiarity with modern network & security approaches would be advantageous.
