As a SAP System Manager you will:
Work closely with the senior management team to implement and support the rollout program across 25 global sites.Ensure that the system meets the operational needs of each site and actively work to continuously improve its performance.Be responsible for a small but growing team, someone with management experience or wanting management responsibility would be highly desirable.Lead and act as project manager on any implementation projects.Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to streamline and improve the overall department efficiency and productivity.Have overall responsibility for the creation, maintenance and publishing of full documentation of systems, processes, procedures and training materials. Have day to day management of direct reports within the team.Carry out effective recruitment, performance management, training and development of staff under your span of control.Manage third party consultants to ensure compliance, standards and optimal solution delivery within the budget as directed.
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Either a background in Finance (FICO), Production (PP) or Manufacturing (MM) that has a solid knowledge of SAP configuration.An accountancy background or a qualified accountant that has extensive SAP specialism.Experience in business process re-engineering/change management and project management, ideally in a multi-national company environment.Experience within a heavy engineering environment would be preferred.Ideally experience will cover (FICO, PP or MM).

The selected candidate will provide technical expertise, support and guidance to both the sales, marketing & distribution division and the manufacturing division. Being technically hands on whilst working alongside the IT Manager on a day to day basis to provide IT support and technical expertise.Responsibility for the design, development and deployment of our overall systems.Working closely with the IT Manager to ensure that the IT infrastructure is maintained in good working order.Building strong internal relationships between IT and the wider business, to consult on and review all new projects to ensure that they deliver business advantage and agility.Leading and motivating the IT function and the IT Manager through communication and goal setting, ensuring there are relevant SMART objectives in place, regular reviews conducted and a clear road map regarding personal development for the department.Producing management information, reports and plans to promote awareness within the business as a whole.Managing own continuing professional development and remain up-to-date with industry best practices.
To be a successful Systems and IT Controller you will have the following skills and experience:
Strong systems knowledge and experience of fully integrated ERP systems.Solid understanding of information technology fundamentals and best practices.A demonstrable passion with a fully hands-on approach. Broad experience to include but not limited to:
SAP B1 knowledge/experienceProdumex knowledge/experienceStrong SQL query writing skillsCrystal Reports knowledge/experienceSQL administration experienceGood knowledge of networkingVMWare, SAN's, Windows Server knowledgePrevious management experience.Excellent communication skills with evidence of building great working relationships.Highly competent in Excel and other MS office functions.Experience developing strategic system plans and system and network creation and development.An understanding of commercial forecasting and budgeting.Knowledge of compliance, Data Protection and System Security concepts.Some project management experience.Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be helpful.
