IT & Telecoms, Software Testing, Tester/Test Analyst
£45,000 to £55,000 Per Annum
One of the UK’s leading contract manufacturing companies is seeking a Test Developer to join its expanding team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.The business is focussed on low and medium volume manufacturing in the contract electronics manufacturing (CEM) arena. Its customers range from internationally recognised industrial companies to specialised laboratory and medical equipment manufacturers. Each one of its customers benefits from its unique blend of skills and knowledge gained over many years of electronics manufacture. As a Test Developer, your main duties will be to:
Developing software to enable the automatic testing of customer products.Liaising with the engineering department.Supporting engineers in diagnosing difficult faults.Designing and developing strategies.Developing and reviewing existing LabView software.Maintaining electronic and system drawings.Manage/Supervise department of 11 staff -Deal with holiday, minor Disciplinary, training etc.
To be a successful Test Developer, you will have the following skills and experience:
Experience in managing/supervising a team of around 10 people.Previous experience in a similar Test Development role.Previous experience using LabView and J-tag Programming would be ideal, but is not essential.Good organisational skills.Good communication skills.
