The main purpose of the role will be to undertake and support the existing design team. * Production of audio visual M&E drawings * Production of audio visual system schematics* Production of bespoke metal work design - Bracketry, plates, etc* Production of bespoke woodwork design - control desks, lecterns, media walls, etc* Production of CAD detailing optical rigs, projection throw, screen distances, equipment/power/service/data positioning* Production of containment drawings* Attending site meetings* Designing coordination with all internal departments and external clients/consultants* Supplier liaison* Comprehensive working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements and their installations (including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, video conferencing, video streaming, digital signage, etc)* A thorough understanding of technology behind the equipment and associated interfacing * Excellent organisational skills* Sociable and a sense of humour* Able to work well within a team* Self-Management / Communication / Planning/Organising Benefits:* Excellent salary and bonus package * 3% pension contribution (after 6 months probation period) * 23 days holiday in first year (holiday years rising after length of service January to December) to 25 during 3rd year * Death in service benefits (3 x annual salary) * Private medical insurance (after 3 months probation period)
